Aviva Investors strengthens in emerging market equities

“(London) – Aviva Investors, the global asset management business of Aviva plc (‘Aviva’), today announces the appointment of Aaron Armstrong as Portfolio Manager, Global Emerging Market Equities, as part of the ongoing strengthening of its Equities capabilities.

Aaron joins Aviva Investors from Alquity Investment Management, where he worked for over four years; most recently as a Senior Analyst in the Asian investment team. In a newly-created role, Aaron will report to Alistair Way, Head of Global Emerging Market Equities.

The appointment is the latest addition to the Equities team in 2018 following the appointment of David Cumming as Chief Investment Officer, Equities, in January. It comes after Aviva Investors made nine hires to its UK, Global and Emerging Market equities teams in July, as well as the appointment of Susan SchAmidt as Head of US Equities in October.”
