Lothian appoints new Chief Executive: Doug Heron

Lothian Pension Fund publishes on its website:

“Doug Heron is to be the new Chief Executive of the £6.7bn Lothian Pension Fund, the second largest Local Government Pension Scheme in Scotland. Doug will take up his appointment in February 2019.

Doug Heron is to be the new Chief Executive of the £6.7bn Lothian Pension Fund, the second largest Local Government Pension Scheme in Scotland.  Doug will take up his appointment in February.  He is joining us from Edinburgh-based investment platform Nucleus Financial.  During his four years there, he held the roles of Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer.  Prior to joining Nucleus, Doug was Finance Director of private bank Adam & Company and previously held senior roles in RBS in the UK and China. He is a graduate of the University of Glasgow and an associate member of both the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments (CISI) and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).”
